1. What it is
The Profession League is a weekly competition between professions, played through The Escape, an IQ-style story game. It is a game for entertainment. It is not a clinical or diagnostic test, and there are no cash prizes or prizes of any kind.
2. Seats
- There are 29 professions. Each has 100 seats: 90 Rep seats at $3 and 10 Team Lead seats at $10 (US dollars, one-time, for Season 1).
- One seat per person and per email address. You pick the profession you work in (students pick Student).
- A seat is yours once payment is confirmed. Seat counts on the site are live and real.
- A seat gives you Season 1 access to The Escape, a place on your profession's roster and your scores counted on the weekly board.
3. Scoring
- Each run of The Escape scores 1,000, minus 30 for every wrong answer, plus a speed bonus.
- Your best run each week (Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC) is your weekly score.
- A profession's weekly score is the weighted average of its seat holders' weekly scores. Team Lead scores count 2×. Seat holders who don't play that week are left out, not counted as zero.
- Runs flagged by our fair-play checks (for example shared accounts or impossible speeds) don't count. We may remove a seat holder who cheats, with a refund.
4. The weekly board
Every Monday we publish the profession ranking on the site and on our Instagram, @my.scorely. If you chose to show it, your Instagram @handle may appear in that post and on your profession's roster. You can hide it at any time by emailing us.
5. Pre-sale and launch
- Seats are sold before the league opens. Season 1 opens once enough seats have sold; we email every seat holder on launch day.
- If the league is not live by December 15, 2026, every seat is refunded in full to the original payment method. You don't need to ask.
- Before launch you can ask for a full refund, or to switch profession or tier if a seat is free, by emailing [email protected].
6. After launch
Once the league is live and you have played, seats are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or under our refund policy.
